I am a qualified nutritionist, personal trainer and spin class instructor. I’m a former national level athlete, and regularly compete in recreational triathlons and long distance trail events.
I strongly believe in using whole foods and natural supplements to fuel the body for optimal athletic performance, recovery and muscle development.
What to expect in an initial nutrition consultation?
In an initial consultation we will address your current health complaints by having an in-depth look at your health history as well as a range of systems in your body such as the digestive, nervous and immune system, and we will, of course, address your current diet and lifestyle routines. All of the above will assist us in moving forwards and finding the most appropriate health goals for you as an individual.
Depending on your situation, I may recommend some blood tests or breath tests be undertaken to help determine any underlying health issues or intolerances that your symptoms point to.

I am a clinical nutritionist, personal trainer and spin class instructor who is passionate about educating and inspiring individuals to reach and maintain their optimal health and wellbeing. I am a strong believer in food as medicine and am passionate about all areas of nutrition. I am particularly interested in sports nutrition, gut health and weight management.
As a former national-level swimmer and athlete as well as a recreational triathlete and competitive swimming coach, I have been involved and interested in sports nutrition for the last fourteen years.
Throughout my time in the sporting industry, I have found very little education or information is provided to athletes, parents or coaches on the benefits of eating whole foods to boost sports performance, recovery and physical development.
Through my personal experience as an athlete and coach, I’ve seen that the majority of advertised and recommended sports nutrition products are of poor quality and full of chemical sweeteners and artificial additives as well as poorly absorbed proteins, carbohydrates and minerals. In the long term, these are detrimental to an athlete’s digestive and liver health, overall wellbeing and sports performance.
I have a strong passion for educating individuals and athletes on the benefits of consuming whole foods and high-quality natural supplements to obtain the optimal nutrition required before, during and after training sessions and races to promote optimal sports performance, recovery, and muscle development.
In addition to sports nutrition and weight management, I am also very interested in healing the gastrointestinal tract and helping individuals achieve optimal gut health.
The digestive tract comprises several vital organs that need to be functioning in peak condition for people to attain optimal health. Therefore, I am interested in helping everyone improve gut health so they can achieve optimal digestion and absorption of nutrients, enhance and strengthen their immune systems, and increase their overall vitality.
I believe in eating natural, whole foods along with incorporating positive lifestyle changes and natural supplementation, when necessary, to help achieve optimal health and performance.
I love educating people about the benefits of using food as medicine. I always endeavour to treat my clients as individuals in providing them with realistic, achievable goals that fit their lifestyles and arming them with the knowledge and resources they need to achieve and maintain optimal health for life.
